China, as a responsible developing country, has been honoring its commitments to tackling climate change and boosting high-quality development through meteorological modernization.
China's advancements in meteorological science and technology have benefited not only its own population but also the rest of the world, Assistant Secretary-General of the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) Zhang Wenjian has said.
On March 24, Mr. Zhang Zuqiang, Deputy Administrator of China Meteorological Administration (CMA), met with Mr. Mahr Sahibzad Khan, Director General of Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).
